ILF Scotland is a Scottish Public Body and distributes annual funding of around £55m to support recipients to lead independent lives. The organisation has a staff team of around 45, who provide award management services for approximately 3,100 current fund recipients.

ILF Scotland is looking for a Policy Officer to join its team. Supported by the Head of Policy, you will be responsible for providing advice to all staff in relation to the interpretation and application of ILF Scotland policies. You will develop key relationships with internal and external stakeholders and work collaboratively to influence and improve policies for ILF Scotland recipients.

The ideal candidate will be qualified to degree level or have relevant professional experience in a similar role. You will be skilled at project management, re-priortising and working to tight deadlines and bring your extensive analytical and communications skills to the team.

This exciting opportunity will enable you to play your part by using your professional skills and experience to develop policies and practice that promote independent living for disabled people in Scotland and Northern Ireland.
