Full Description

In emergency situations, every second really does count.

Flying 365 days per year and working in partnership with the Scottish Ambulance Service, the incredible SCAA helps save lives when time is critical and seconds can make a difference in terms of survival and early recovery.

The charity was launched 5 years ago and has gone from strength to strength. It is about to begin the delivery of an ambitious growth strategy which involves the launch of a £6 million Capital Appeal to run a new air ambulance from a base in the North East of Scotland and the doubling of its annual income over the next few years.

It is looking for an exceptional Director of Finance to join its senior leadership team and manage this function as well as support the strategic planning for the charity.

If you come from a commercial, corporate or third sector organisation, are a qualified accountant with a minimum of 3 years relevant experience and have operated at a senior level, then this could be a wonderful career move for you. You do not need to be located near SCAA’s headquarters in Perth as some home working will be considered for the right candidate. However, it is important you can ensure you are able to invest a reasonable amount of time at the office to engage with colleagues and work closely with the Senior Management Team.
