Full Description

The Good Shepherd Centre offers secure care, close support & semi-independent living services and education and health and wellbeing support for vulnerable young people 12 to 17 years of age.

“Our purpose is to provide a positive, life-changing experience for young people through individual care, education and skills development”.

The Good Shepherd Centre (GSC) supports vulnerable children, young people and young adults. The GSC campus just outside Bishopton offers young people a safe, nurturing and caring environment set in fabulous grounds with a garden wildlife trail and outdoor sports facility. On-campus there are three secure care houses, a close support house & two semi-independent living cottages.

This is an exciting time to join Team GSC as the charity seeks to build on its strong reputation for relational based practice and helping young people to build hope, skills and plans for their future. The organisation has embarked on a journey with new and ambitious strategic goals for the growth and development of their services for young people. The Funding Manager will play a pivotal role in helping GSC shape and realise these ambitions and future growth.

The ideal candidate will have exceptional fundraising skills and be easily able to demonstrate a solid record of fundraising achievements across grant-makers and Local Authority funding sources. You should be a self-starter who has brilliant communication and relationship management skills and have a strong talent at recognising and identifying new funding opportunities. GSC offers employees a great benefits package and you will be joining an enthusiastic and dedicated team.
