Brothers of Charity Services (Scotland) brings a fresh approach and modern outlook to care services. Dynamic and forward-thinking, the charity drives continuous professional development for its staff to ensure they are equipped and qualified to deliver best-in-class care and support services across the Scottish Borders.

Striving to ensure every individual service user to receive bespoke care, a staff team of more than 200 dedicated people provide a broad range of services from supported living and social enterprise run cafes to care homes, training and development and short breaks. The staff are passionate about supporting people to live life to the fullest and have a real appetite for learning and development to support their continuous professional development and ensure they continue working at the forefront of care services delivery.

Service provision must be safe, effective and person-centred, and deliver support that is driven by the needs, wishes and aspirations of people using the services of Brothers of Charity Services (Scotland). The Senior Manager Quality & Development will be passionate about ensuring that the services provided are of the highest quality and staff are able to work at the high standard required.

The Quality & Development Senior Manager will be an experienced and skilled leader who is passionate about delivering best-in-class care and support services, inspires learning and high-standards across the organisation and supports the Chief Executive and senior-management team to take the organisation into the future. This role is central to improving staff and helping Brothers of Charity Services (Scotland) achieve higher Care Inspectorate grades and to become gold-standard employers with a reputation as both the care sectors employer and service provider of choice. Deputy Chief Executive responsibilities require you to have significant experience leading from a strategic and operational perspective. It is paramount that you have the passion for staff development and the drive and determination to help lead Brothers of Charity Scotland through a growth agenda the current challenges the care sector face and a growth agenda.

Brothers of Charity Service (Scotland) need the Quality & Development Senior Manager to inspire, engage and motivate staff and service users across the charity. It will be important that they believe in the work of the organisation and the impact their role has on the staffs’ ability to deliver high-quality care and support services to those in need.
