Full Description

People, conversation and connection.

Mental ill health can affect anyone at any time. The road back to mental wellbeing can be long and lonely. Three Sixty walk the journey of recovery with people to a place of wellbeing.

Three Sixty has been promoting mental wellbeing throughout South Ayrshire, with a focus on recovery and empowerment, since 1987. Three Sixty deliver services to individuals aged 16 and over who are affected by ill mental health, including their families and carers when needed. By focusing on community, connection and people, the charity supports people through their recovery.

The charity is looking to recruit three new Directors (Trustees) to join their board. Directors that care about others, who value kindness and compassion as well as believing in recovery and the role of empowerment.

Ideally, candidates will come from an appropriate background such as community development, social work, social care or social enterprise. In particular, Three Sixty are interested in applicants with experience in fundraising, bid writing, accountancy and community development.

The charity plans to develop their strategy with particular focus on men’s mental wellbeing, community connecting and diversifying funding streams.
